Glenn C. Wernli, age 45, of Temple, Texas passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family at his home on Sunday, June 25, 2017. He was born on the 17th day of February 1972 in Temple, Texas to Glenn E. and Jackie (Fisher) Wernli.
Glenn moved away from this area in his earlier years where attending school in Richardson, Texas. In 1992 he returned to Temple. Glenn’s soul was full of love for his friends and family and he made sure to put a smile on your face anytime he was around.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Glenn leaves behind his spouse Alana Wernli and two daughters Clarissa Sanders of Troy and Cristen Sanders of Nolanville. Also left behind are his mother Jackie Wernli and husband Brian Vollman of Temple, father Glenn E. Wernli and wife Barbara of Waxahachie, sister Melissa Quintero and husband Jesse, sister Angela Martin and husband Jess and brother Sam Wernli all of Temple. Also left to cherish his memory are his two granddaughters Scarlett Bakula and Gracie Higgins as well as nieces Courtney Quintero and Haley Martin and nephews Cole Martin and Ethan Wernli.
A funeral service for Glenn will be held at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM on Saturday July 1, 2017. A visitation will be held before the funeral service starting at 11:30 AM for family and friends. Chaplain Alastair Howie will be officiating the services.
