Opal Geneva Salinas, age 69 of Belton, Texas died in a local hospital on July 30, 2017. She was born in Osborn, Ohio, on February 29, 1948 to Charles and Hazel (Moore) Alexander.

Opal married Domingo Salinas Sr. on February 20, 1971 in Temple, Texas.
She lived in Belton since 1969 and she was a Christian.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Hazel as well as one brother and one sister.

Opal’s survivors include her husband Domingo Salinas Sr., son D. Louis Salinas Jr., daughter Hazel Armstrong all of Belton as well as 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM at North Belton Cemetery in Belton. There will be a visitation on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6:00PM- 8:00PM at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home Chapel.
